Supplier files to reviewed store updates

Compare a supplier’s new price list with the previous edition, match supplier codes to your variants, and review cost and selling-price changes before applying them. The app interface is in English.

Amend is currently available to businesses established and operating outside the EEA and United Kingdom. We check the business country saved in Shopify; unsupported or unverified stores cannot start processing or select a plan in the app. Existing records remain exportable.

Supported documents

Files must be non-empty and no larger than 10 MB. Each import supports up to 10,000 product rows within your remaining plan allowance. PDFs support up to 100 pages, with at most 20 pages requiring OCR per import. Split longer documents. Remove password protection before uploading. File acceptance does not guarantee recognition of every table.

Source text can remain in its original language. Recognition quality varies with language, handwriting, print quality and layout. Check codes, decimals, currencies, taxes and case sizes against the original. When enabled, external OCR pages are processed by Z.AI; see the service-provider notice. The app requires review of OCR output before applying changes.

Optional external OCR

External OCR is enabled. If enabled, Z.AI OCR is limited to price lists without personal information. Check every page and remove names, personal contact details, signatures and sole-trader identifiers before uploading. Confirm each file separately to allow transmission. The app does not automatically anonymize documents. Removing personal information does not remove confidential prices or contractual restrictions on disclosure. Do not send content without the supplier's permission where that permission is required. Without confirmation, CSV, Excel and readable PDF tables are parsed on our infrastructure; files needing OCR are held for manual recovery. Scheduled source downloads do not authorize external OCR. Purchase documents with personal information must use local parsing or manual entry. If the OCR provider's conditions become unsuitable, we stop external OCR while local parsing and manual recovery remain available.

Your first import

  1. Create a supplier and define the source columns, currency, tax treatment and unit or case price.
  2. Upload a dated edition. Open the original alongside the extracted table.
  3. Correct cells, add missing rows, split or combine columns, or paste a table. Exclude headings and footnotes that are not products.
  4. Match supplier codes or barcodes to the correct product, variant and pack size. Resolve uncertain matches.
  5. Review the proposed fields and amounts, enable approved updates, then approve. Check the result in update history.
  6. After confirming the first edition, enable automation only for rules and product mappings you trust.

When a file cannot be read

Open the failed document and choose Recover manually. Start an empty table or paste rows with headers, repair the structure, and compare every relevant page with the original before confirming it. A failed automatic read returns its processing allowance. Manual recovery does not call the OCR API and still uses the document and row allowance. Corrupt, encrypted or oversized files may need to be repaired or split before upload.

When a proposed update conflicts

A store value may have changed since review. Pause and prepare a fresh proposal. Do not overwrite it by repeatedly approving an old proposal. Failed writes are reconciled against Shopify before retrying. A correction can be unavailable after a later change or revoked access.

Purchasing and receiving

Prepare or import purchase-order CSVs, record purchase evidence, and match it with available Shopify receiving records. Receipt access depends on the store’s Shopify capabilities and optional permissions. You can separately approve a confirmed received unit cost under the selected cost policy. The app does not place supplier orders, add received quantities, synchronize inventory quantity, run accounts payable, or calculate FIFO or weighted-average inventory valuation. Supplier availability is not your store’s own stock.

Plans and processing allowances

Launch prices in USD per 30 days, before applicable taxes. Shopify shows the plan and charging terms for approval. No automatic overage charges.

PlanPriceDocumentsRowsOCR pages
Starter$29305,00050
Growth$5910025,000200
Scale$99300100,000600

The 30-day trial includes 10 documents, 10,000 rows and 20 OCR pages. Switching plans during the same cycle does not reset used allowances. CSV, Excel and directly extracted PDF content do not use OCR pages. Failed reads return their allowance; repeated attempts have a separate safety limit. Corrections and approvals do not add a new read charge.

Original documents are normally retained for up to 90 days, subject to a shorter store setting and the pending-work policy. Export your records before disconnecting. Cancel through Shopify or uninstall to stop future renewals; pausing updates alone does not cancel billing.

Contact and privacy

Contact support@unkrypt.com with your store domain, document ID, time and a description of the issue without copying document contents. Do not attach originals, screenshots, exports, access tokens or personal data about other people. For document-specific review, create temporary support access in the app and send only its reference ID. Our authorized operator reviews the permitted records in the private app environment. Revoke access when finished. Support email is routed through Cloudflare to consumer Gmail; it is not a document upload channel.

Operated by unkrypt. Email is accepted at any time. Ordinary support has no fixed hours or guaranteed response time; our time zone is Asia/Tokyo (JST). Statutory privacy and disclosure deadlines still apply.
